matt trakker ◊ 2009-06-25 05:48	This is a 1974 or 75 Jimmy, the 1973 trucks had a one year only style of fender emblem that was rectangular in shape, the 74 and later had the more familiar style with the staggered lettering like on the truck in the picture. The model is denoted as just K5 as well, K15/K1500 was only applied to pickups and Suburbans. GM applied the K5 moniker to downplay the models strength as the short wheelbase was not suitable for heavy towing. -- Last edit: 2009-06-25 05:50:28
