an_unusual_eye ◊ 2024-08-30 17:34	I just wanted to revisit this one to add some hopefully helpful information based on the comments above. This one is a 1977-78 280Z, but this is how we get there... S30 US model years ran 1970-78 240z 1970-73 (2 bumper styles) 260Z 1974 only (2 bumper styles) 280Z 1975-78 (2 bumper styles) This taillight style ran from 1974-78 for all 260Z and 280Z models (the rear panel was wider on 2+2 models, with 2 vertical ribs on each side of the license plate, but the lights were visually the same). So, this car is 1970-78 by being an S30 Z, narrows to 1974-78 for the taillight style, and narrows further to 1977-78 for the bumper style.
