not Jeep...Geep...created by Geoff Jago ...bodyshell was a fiberglass pirated pull from a poor condition 1942 Willys on the early models...until GM stepped in and sued...over the years the basic ww2 style body tub has been improved to hide its ww2 style...the early Geeps were clones of a Ww2 style, but with a bonnet which had an invasion star actually molded into it, tho the length of bonnet was about 3 inches longer than the original Willys item in order to accomodate the Ford Anglia engine.pre 1975 Geeps were built to use the major mechanical components and engine from the Ford Anglia 105E series...but by 1975 Anglias were hard to source so post 1975 vehicles were built for Mk1 Ford escort components, but by the 1980s the kit was adapted to take any Ford engine from a 1300 to a 3 litre V6..in 1985 a special run of just 25 "Geep85" specials were built with special paint, graphics and accessories to mark the firms 25th birthday.
