In the third thumbnail one can read that it is a L version. No writing on the rear side, still hubcaps: only 1974. The white one in the last thumbnail has still got the writing on the rear side, but no more indicator repeaters on the front fenders: 1972/73. |

This scene was the reenactment of Mesrine's armed escape from the Palais de Justice Compiègne at Compiègne in the Oise department, Northern France on the afternoon of the 6th June 1973. The events that led to the escape was that on the 5th March 1973, Mesrine got into a argument with a cashier at local coffee bar where he pulled a revolver on the cashier and had assaulted a French Police Officer who tried to intervene. Three days later on the 8th March 1973, Mesrine was arrested and in May, was sentenced to 20 years in La Santé Prison, on the day that he was due to be transferred, he asked one of the police officers escorting him to go to the toilet where he retrieved a gun hidden in the toilet box. -- Last edit: 2019-11-09 15:09:45 |
