DRB ◊ 2014-04-22 18:56	Note the dashboard in the over-the-shoulders shot of Nolte (driving the car) and Dreyfuss: That's an earlier dashboard configuration than a 1978 model Corniche, perhaps a 1974 or 1975. But the close-up shot of the radio (when Dreyfuss has called the radio psychologist as he's driving through downtown L.A.) is a post-1977 dashboard, with a different arrangement of gauges. Also note the flatbed tow-truck shots: The Corniche's left taillight and rear bumper are gone (after Dreyfuss wrecks the car) in the earlier shot, but in the later shot, as the tow truck pulls away (Corniche in profile), the taillight and rear bumper are on the car.
