Two of these were used in the garage scene: Briefly seen again later on: -- Last edit: 2009-01-17 02:06:48 |

Did it have Power-Deploying Running Boards? |

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think you can tell from watching the film. -- Last edit: 2008-08-10 01:49:55 |

Darn, well, I was going to say if it did have them, then it’s for sure a 2008 model. If it had those infernal fixed running boards, then it could be either a ‘07 or ‘08. |

But then this film would have been filmed last year anyway. -- Last edit: 2008-08-10 03:05:31 |

I wasn't really looking out for those, to be honest. During my first viewing, I thought it was an XLT and subsequently put so on this page, but after i saw the movie a second time, i noticed the body-colored grill and saw that it was a Limited model. I've learned well from you -- Last edit: 2009-01-17 02:05:37 |

Believe it or not, it was an Eddie Bauer with an Identity crisis (so was the other Expedition) It had two-tone Eddie Bauer signature leather interior, standard headlamps (not the Limited’s Stylized Black-out headlamps) plain black roof-rails (not the Limited’s Chrome accented roof-rails) and plain black side view mirrors (not the Limited’s body colored side view mirrors) On a side note: They had manual open/close Liftgates. On Limited models they almost always have power assisted, self open/self close Liftgates. |

Wow, good eye Even with the body-colored grill, something seemed odd about it for some reason. I guess my assumptions turned out to be justified. |

They obviously painted over the Eddie’s signature Pueblo Gold trim, and either replaced the grille with a Limited grille or simply painted over the chrome. But for all that trouble I would have just used a genuine Limited (though the circumstances are unknown, Limited Expeditions may not have been readily available ) |
