Appears to be a Bentley S-Type that is missing its hood ornament. |

Agreed, Bentley S1, 1955-9. Since it was about twenty years old and possibly not in the best condition (note the non-matching headlights), I'm not surprised the flying B is missing. |

The non matching headlights are worthy of note. The Flying B can be unscrewed and stolen in seconds, owners used to unscrew them and take them in their pocket or briefcase, to avoid the not inconsiderable replacement cost. |
