If this is the same red Ford as another one shown in this series it is a 1947-48 vintage. 1946 had small rectangular lights above the grille which the other one does not have. |

This one is also a 1947-48 Ford and not a 1946 : 1946 cars had 2 horizontal trim strips running on the truklid above and under the trunk handle .They are absent here.The side and beltline trim pieces also appear of the thicker 1947 type.So 1947-48 Ford Super DeLuxe Sedan Coupe ( series 79 A or 89 A , body style 72 B) |

I think there are actually two different red Fords. The one seen here /vehicle.php?id=168397 appears to be a convertible and could be the red convertible seen behind this coupe |
