Wow, they used a brand new Suburban for the downhill roll instead of the previous generation truck. About 40 grand destroyed? |

I’m sure they used a gutted Suburban (no engine, transmission, etc.) – it rolls down the hill too "lightly" (as if it has very little weight to it) Oh, and it has amazing self regenerating side view mirrors ... ![]() BTW, I would love to know what kind of police light-bar it has (Ford_Guy? ![]() to the Suburban the whole time it rolls down the hill *and appears unscathed* despite being rolled over on two times ... that’s one tough light-bar!!! ... ![]() |

I like it more to see a Suburban of the current generation getting destroyed than one of the previous generation.I think the 2000-2006 Tahoes and Suburbans look much cooler than the 2007s. |

It looks like an MX7000 lightbar: http://www.albert-baas.nl/sirens/mx7000.jpg Same lightbar that the LAPD used from 1996/7-2004. |

I like it more to see a car which is new and still in production being destroyed than an 'old' car |

Usually if you see a brand new car destroyed in a film, it was probably donated by the manufacturer as product placement. Studios generally don't mind trashing something if it's given to them for free. |
