I would say that this is a 1941 DeSoto 7 passenger TAXI edition. |

1941 DeSoto 8 passenger taxicab ( S-8 ).It may be confusing because of the standing lights on top of the front fenders.Normally 1941 DeSotos did not have them and they seem borrowed from a 1941 Chrysler .But grille and side trim are definitely 1941 DeSoto.It may be that this was a requirement of the taxicab companies. |
