I agree with weasel, too. It's definetely not a Consul. A Cortina could be more possible than a Consul, but it's also wrong. It's quite surely something Japanese from the early/mid 70ies. |

Japanese probably Datsun as Weasel1984 said. The licence plate area is too small for a normal length UK plate, this was common with Japanese cars in the 1970s, so it rules out Ford. |

UK name was Laurel 200L, announced Oct 72, arrived Feb 73 as 4 door and 2 door hardtop. |
