But the grey dashboard dates from 1966 or before... And also the reflectors were only during 1965-1967 on the rear wings. The square rear lights look different from those on Ami6s and later 2CVs, maybe they were a German-spec by Hella? |

It is a Belgian built AMI6 1965/1966 in an export version for Germany. For some reason - which I don´t know - the original Belgian oval rear lights (made by Hella) were replaced by rectangular rearlights (made by Hella as well). It was a type of rearlight normally used for trailers etc. So when seeing it, one might take it for a "bricolage maison" but it was original. By the way, the car is lacking the typical Belgian parking lights (which were produced by Hella too, but not mounted for Germany ;-) ) -- Last edit: 2009-10-10 16:42:06 |
