Looks to me too a Ford; I found an advert from 1937 with this hood ornament. There were lots of Dutch coachbuilders (Werkspoor, Van Steenis, Geesink, Kronenburg, Van de Schee, Ten Cate, to name just a few...) that used Ford chassis (Fords were made in Amsterdam from the early thirties till 1981). Btw. the houses in this pic seem to be fake: the hoistbeams are typical Amsterdam, but the buildings are too low and the street is too wide... |

Ford V8 1938. 1937 Ford trucks had rearwards inclined hood louvres with a V8 logoin the middle , 1938's had horizontal louvres as on this one.Style pretty much looks Van Steenis . |
