M7 Priest, built by American Locomotive Co. or Federal Machine and Welder Co. from 1942 onwards.

nope..its the Canadian built Sexton, armed with 25 pound gun..its square muzzle brake can clearly be seen...the M7 had the US 105mm howitzer,with no muzzle brake..vehicle pictured is in service with British 153 Regiment, Royal Artillery attatched to British XXX Corps crossing a Bailey bridge over the Wilhelmina canal at Son,Wednesday 20 September 1944

I stand corrected. Seeing as how British armored units composed the main thrust in Operation Market Garden, you're probably right.

edit: According to Wikipedia, Sextons were built off the hulls of Grizzly tanks (Canadian version of the M4A1 Sherman) by Montreal Locomotive Works.

Full name is Montreal Locomotive Sexton 25 pdr. Self Propelled Gun (1943-45) built in Canada for the British Army.
