Amazing coincedence how it looks "almost" like the Bad Guys '68 Charger R/T in "Bullitt"?? |

1968 Dodge Charger R/T. This would be equipped with the 440 Magnum engine, as nearly all were (a few hundred had Hemis, but they had a small silver "HEMI" badge on the door, between the simulated vents - not visible here). It also has the optional Magnum 500-type "road wheels," which were a popular option. For an 8 year old car, it looks a bit worse for wear...then again, like most fast machines, these cars were generally abused. |

yeah definitely a 68. the fact that theres no middle pillar on the grill means its not a 69, which had the pillar. and its not a 70 because the grill does not have a 3" lining around the entire grill. most of the 70's also had a horizontal line running through the middle of the grille. AND the '68 also has circular side marker lights which are functional, compared to the '69 that had rectangular reflectors. also, the circular tail lights were only on the 68. |
