With those mufflers I almost want to say it's a MkIIA (late 74). I think the side shot of the airbox confirms this.

Supposedly, the film ends with the destruction of the titular bike. Not sure if they destroyed an actual Norton or took a junked bike and dressed it up to look like one, but once the film was released, the director was allegedly confronted and corned by a motorcycle gang and was interrogated to make sure one wasn't actually destroyed while making the film.

Reminds me of how John Hughes received several angry letters from car enthusiasts who thought the Ferrari wrecked at the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off was the real deal, though they weren't even able to rent a legit '61 Ferrari.
