Ralph, could you please put more captures of the crash? |

Crashed car seems to be an XJ40, as usual. |

poor car looks like it is not an XJ [40] but an XJ [300] or XJ [308] which are more luxurious and expensive ![]() @ Tönz: I dont think its an XJ[40], the frontlights dont look like it for example: XJ[40] /vehicle_113656-Jaguar-XJ6-XJ40-1993.html XJ[308] /vehicle_128221-Jaguar-XJ8-X308.html XJ [300] /vehicle_173808-Jaguar-XJ-X300.html -- Last edit: 2009-01-27 21:48:58 |

Yes it is a newer one, i.e. X300/X308, not a XJ40 I do not know if it is more expensive or more luxurious, it is just newer... |

I suppose they are more expensive since you rather see XJ40s getting destroyed than XJ300s, XJ40s are just older and have a lot of mechanical problems, as far as I know the XJ300s are cars on which you can better rely -- Last edit: 2009-01-27 21:51:03 |

I meant the one in the thumbnail. Jaguars qualify for being replaced before demolishing, because older models are nearly worthless and look similar to the current ones, which are used for driving scenes and close-ups. |

Tönz >> indeed the crashed one is a XJ40 |

yes didnt look closely enough on the thumbnail hehe, you can clearly see its a different car on that.. so how will you mark this Jaguar, as XJ40, XJ300 (main pic) or just XJ? |

Stunt doubles sometimes get their own page ... ![]() |
|
◊ 2009-01-27 22:13 |
Personally, I do not like to give a page for stunt doubles, as they are usually not very noticeable when watching the movie (we see these because of the still pictures), comments are enough for that. Except some special cases like the two Audi 80 of /movie_345461-The-Detonator.html as these were separate scenes. |

You're probably right. Difficult to give a star status otherwise, since the rating refers to the role (which is played by both cars together). |
