have a look at the rims, the tyres , the antenna.... it actually looks like a toy of the same era, doesn't it? ... a Corgi Toys for instance :D

Actually,it's a Belvedere instead of a Savoy.....this car has chrome on the side,Savoy's didn't have any.

With this side trim, full wheel covers and chrome around the windscreen and backlight, I daresay it's a Fury.

Definitely a Belvedere, you can easily see the distinctive stylized Belvedere emblem on the car's front fender near the wheel.

I'm watching In the heat of the Night. At first I thought Sam's cop car a Dodge Fury. But now I totally agree it's a 63 Plymouth Belvedere. We sure use to have a lot of great American cars. I feel lucky to have been fortunate to grow up in the 60s and still be part of that America before we sold out to Asaians and lost Detroit.

Loved this car last night on the BBC and that sound too. Very bouncey

Nice car. When officer Wood comes back to the PD with Virgil in arrest, another blue patrol car is parked in the background, it looks to be a late 50s Plymouth or something similar.
