First it's RHD - very surprising if only 6 were built (http://www.americansportscars.com/wildfire.html) - the showroom examples in final thumbs are LHD. Thumbs 8-10 look UK-set - particularly 8 - but are a different car (Edit - now agreed as Swallow Doretti with own entry, not Allard or Jensen as I guessed first) - see bonnet, wheels, grille. Finally the plate NGP 971 was a genuine number (issued Oct 52-Mar 53) but no details of what it was issued on. So lots of fakery, but I can't unpick it all. Two main questions (1) was there ever a genuine RHD Wildfire (and if not what actually is the car in the US scenes?) (2) what is the car in thumbs 8-10? and could it be the genuine NGP 971 as a longshot question? -- Last edit: 2010-10-27 20:38:02

Sunbar ◊ 2010-11-04 19:04	The speedometer looks typically 1950s GM (USA) to me. The minor gauges don't match and could be anything USA or British. Don't recognise the steering wheel, column or parking brake.
