No. 'Old Faithful' seems to have been a desert version with wider fenders and bigger tyres: /vehicle_173843-Humber-Snipe-1938.html |

"General Montgomery, Commander of the British and Allied forces in Northern Africa during the Desert war of WWII, had two specially built Humber Super Snipe, four-door, open tourers made with larger front mudguards, mine-proof floors and long range fuel tanks. Montgomery’s Humbers were known as ‘Old Faithful’ and the ‘Victory Car’. The original one as used in 1941 was overall sand colour, the green was added by 1943 for the Italian campaign. |
