This is indeed a Stoewer passenger- car based truck-Kübelwagen ca 1938-39.Hard to tell if it was build on the 6 cylinder Arkona 3.6 litre or 4 cylinder 2.4 litre Sedina base.Only 2O1 Arkonas were produced , they are rare, versus 924 Sedinas.It is peculiar in that it is probably a late war conversion of a passenger car , may be of a 4 door phaeton model made when military versions became hard to get. It is not a Wehrmacht standard type M 12 or type 40 LEPKVV made by Stoewer. |
