chief tin cloud ◊ 2007-03-05 20:14	1967 Ford XL Sportback (very similar to the '68, but as it has a chrome strip on the belt line, it should be a 67. I think, lenses also differ, but I have no clear pic to compare. The rear alloy panel would tell exactly, but is not clearly visible on this pic.

VH45DE ◊ 2008-02-21 04:51	Hate to disappoint (since I love the XL), but the round badging makes that an 1967 galaxie LTD. from 1966 (1965?) to 1968, the XL had special rectangular badging with a red and black inlay. 1969 had black LTD-like emblems. 1970 to 1971 had rather generic stick on lettering. btw, I owned a '68 (recessed quad grid taillamps). -- Last edit: 2008-02-21 07:58:41
Galaxieman ◊ 2009-01-07 11:45	You are 100% correct as this being a '67 LTD. Besides the round badge on the trunk emblem you can also see it on the 'C' pillars as well as the LTD only style wheel covers.
