Toivonen, Arctic Rally 1980. Can it be an early "Lotus" or maybe TI? Agree this is probably a Ti, not Lotus. |

AKU-424 was a 1600Ti 1978, but was converted first with 2.0 Brazilian engine and Henri finished 9th overall in RAC 1978. This was the car Henri drove most, alltogether 36 rallies, outoff 5 as Lotus, because it was secondly converted to Sunbeam Lotus, and Henri won ARCTIC RALLY 1/1980 and it was his and Talbot Sunbeam Lotuses first International victory! |
