Red rear indicators: US-spec. So this is one of only 2043 US versions sold between Summer 1969 and October 1971, only as '3500 S'. By the older type of rear lights indeed a Mk.I (69/70). In October 1971 export to the US stopped and a new 3500 S model was introduced in Europe (with 4 speed manual), so nowadays the US versions are usually referred to as 'Federal'. |
