It is a cut up GM suburban..The body was then hand built by Bill Berallero in LA over the original bus frame and floor, and was hauled to Chicago for filming. there is nothing on this bus that would tell you it is a GM..I have pics of this being built.. |

One of my favourite vehicles of this film, but... where do the people get in?? 😂 I can't see any doors on the side, could the front end open up? Also another detail I noticed (I'm obsessed with this stuff but it doesn't detract from my liking of this film) is that it doesn't have clearance lights!! Even a futuristic city bus must have them! XD |
