I am not obsessed with a Gran Fury. It's a really a 1981 Gran Fury it has a round hood ornament. Newports have square hood ornament okay. Please change it to 1981 Gran Fury

He's right. The car is seen from another angle in which it backs up, and runs over a motorcycle. The taillights of the car are solid red, Indicating a Gran Fury, whereas a Newport would have silver horizontal trim down the taillights.

Adrock US

2006-12-14 04:47

Please change it to '81 Gran Fury now.

I could care less what you write, but you better not write anything that would not be appropriate for the little ones to read. DON’T, write anything you wouldn’t want your own children to see!!!

(And even if YOU don’t have children, that doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t)

So stay polite and respectful and others will respect you also.

Even if both cars are almost clones, this one is a 1980-81 Gran Fury, not a Newport, look at the hood ornament with the Plymouth badge...

That's pretty rare. A 1980 Gran Fury with a Code 3 strobe flasher lightbar. What a mix! :D

I hope he doesn't have children (currently or in the future). The world would be in trouble with little clones of him running around.

Yes, or an AeroDynic lightbar. The Code 3 came out in 1987. This is a 1980 Plymouth. You can tell this is a civilian vehicle that was made into a cop car. Movie Magic.

I doubt it, judging by the center cap wheels and the spotlight on the driver's side. Definitely an ex-copcar.

Wow..Bickering over a car..the 1980-1981 Plymouth GranFury looked the same so there is no real way of knowing for sure without asking the owners XD..So it don't matter if you identify it as a 1980 or 1981..Like the whole Tomato toe mat o potato po tat o thing XD..Don't matter.

I agree with Snookie on the attractiveness of these Chrysler R-bodies. Looked better than Ford and Chevy's big sedans.

Its an '80 or '81 Plymuoth Gran Fury: the hood ornament with the old Plymouth rocket logo gives it away
