'80 to '82. The worst years for the proud nameplate.

This is actually Paul Kersey's personal and private car in the movie. The car a two tone Mocha and Cream 1982 Ford Thunderbird.

I disagree, Jett.
The '83 models and on forward seemed so generic and non-descript to me.
In my eye, the 1982's were the last of the distinctive T-Birds.

I agree with you, Commander 57. I like the styling that is really Ford [Fox] platform derivative :)

Now  How I can get this Thunderbird generation taillights assembly fit in the Ford [Fox] platform Ford LTD as a 4-door Thunderbird....

Spend him a box of punctuation and his texts may be better understandable.

What's most funny is that the 'two morons' expressed divergent views. They can't BOTH be wrong.

Come on, at least he knows how to spell "moron" - I had to learn that at IMCDb.

Don't make a fuss, cl82. A bit of culture is absolute neccessary per every day.

Sure, culture is absolute neccessary every day, and not only a bit, but as far as anti-culture is concerned- and that's what that pseudo-punk video-link by dsl is- it's the other way round.

Have some more culture: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14ODdLv8ATA

And just so that I can offend dsl too I should mention I bought the Best of for the band in question earlier today.

I've no problem with that choice. Try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HN0ayqlvaA for another good 70s Best of and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qN89sZ2P9c for something a bit more obscure.

People can criticize this generation of Firebird all they want, but Charles Bronson makes it badass! :sun:

It was a 1980 Ford Thunderbird in Death Wish II. It even says that in the credits. My husband owns this car. It has 29000 original miles on it.
