This is much more likely to be a Checker taxicab (A11). The reason is that it's a background car in a Chicago street scene taken in the late 70s. The green/white two-tone paint scheme is the standard Chicago Checker colors. Best guess of a year is between 73 and 76. |

As were are going off-topic with national specialities here: /vehicle.php?id=264198 I want ot add a little detail for this movie. ![]() In the scene in the Soul Food Café with Aretha Franklin there is a poster in the background with "Wiener" and then "The best Polish sausages". |

From that view, don't see how that span of years was reached. No bumpers, windshield wipers or side markers are visible. |

Not a chance. The Marathon. or A12, was the civilian model. The A11 was the fleet model. |
