The vehicle details for E631 JVC are: Date of Liability 09 01 1995 Date of First Registration 17 10 1987 Year of Manufacture 1987 Cylinder Capacity (cc) Not Available CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Heavy Oil Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour YELLOW The Dennis chassis and cab look to be the same as the 'SS' series used on fire tenders. The steel cab was designed by Ogle Designs in Letchworth UK. Probably uses a Perkins engine. |

Right origins clues,Sunbar, but I recall also Shelvoke refuse truck chassis that use same cab;and engine could be even a Gardner diesel unit(Brand fitted sometimes on Dennis) |

Dennis Eagle 'Bulkmaster 50' or 'Bulkmaster 70', is the most likely I believe, as produced from the 1970s until the latest 'Pheonix' designs. Although they are apparently still badged as "Dennis" the manufacturer is Dennis Eagle after Dennis Brothers had been sold in 1972 to the Hestair group, which had previously bought Eagle Engineering. http://www.denniseagle.net/ |

the truck is a narrow phoenix model , not a bulkmaster, the phoenix model came out in 1979, the bulkmaster came out in 1972, it was a copy of the heil collectomatic, as said it is probably a perkins phaser engine, used up to the mid 90's . |
