Sunbar ◊ 2006-09-04 12:58	'B' registration would make it 01 August 1984 to 31 July 1985, but I would stay with the earlier 1982 date since the assigning of registration numbers by the DVLA is not 100% reliable for imported cars. It could be the year the car was imported. If it was a 'used' car (not new) at the time, it could be some few years older.
antp ◊ 2006-09-04 13:48	According to what was said there: Link to "forum.imcdb.org" it should have a 1982 plate even if it was imported later But maybe it was stretched in 1984 using a 1982 basis, and so it counts as the real year of the car?
