..it is unusual.! ..I found a 1896 three-wheeled car from the usa ..called the Pennington ..which had a similar front wheel set-up.

I got a message from antique car website that it's a Hertel from 1899 ! After checking my books I agree.

The HERTLE is also refered to as a OAKMAN, If I can figure out how to post a photo a photo I will, I found a better one than the one on the AACA site. Thank you Raul for linking this site to AACA's.
