Bricklins came with either an AMC V8 (1974) or a Ford V8 (1975-1976). I wonder which was powering this particular car. |

I'd guess a Ford 351, but only because that's what powers Eleanor. |

Very unique car for a car chase. Shame it gets destroyed at the end, makes me wonder how many of the 2,100 Bricklins he used for this scene. |

Hopefully 2099 then there's one left in a museum to remind us all how crap they were. |

Halicki had purchased the safety red Bricklin used at T-Auto Sales back in January of 1979 prior to filming The Junkman. The Bricklin's vehicle idenification number is actually 00041AA4S000057 which makes it a 1974 model with AMC/Chrysler 360 engine with a automatic Chrysler Torqueflite Transmission. Here are some pictures of the Bricklin at T-Auto Sales back in January of 1979 prior to Halicki purchasing it. -- Last edit: 2020-08-01 18:23:29 |

Apparently this car wasn't too heavily damaged, because it still exists today. |
