This car belonged to Johnny Boy Soprano (Jospeh Siravo), and is seen in a flashback to Tony's childhood in episode 3.3 "Fortunate Son". |

Must be a De Ville, as between 1937 and 1970 there was no other convertible offered by Cadillac. |

1967-68 Cadillac "De Ville" Series convertible (impossible to determine the precise year without either a front, rear or full side view). It's neither a '69 nor a '70 Cadillac, starting in 1969 Cadillac lost the small vent window in the front door. What's that, "archi87", about Cadillac offering no other convertible except the "De Ville", from 1937 to 1970? What about the 2-door or 4-door convertibles offered in the Cadillac "Series 60", "Series 61", "Series 62" [especially], "Series 70", "Series 75", "Series 85, "Series 90" ... built during the period from 1937 up to 1963; and how about all the Eldorado convertible models built from 1953 up to 1966? The "De Ville" convertible made its first appearance in 1964 and continued in production until 1970. |

I always like to wait for MrCadillac's opinion whenever I post a classic Caddy, he really knows his stuff! |

It's a 68 Deville convertible. You can tell from the side view mirror being that it looks square like instead of round and from the interior door panel having that wood grain look panel behind the handle which are both from a 68 model. |

I am the owner of the San Mateo red 1968 DeVille convertible used in this "Sopranos" scene. I would classify its condition as a low 2 or a high 3. Everything works and it runs very well. In May of 2009 my friend and I drove it coast to coast and back including all 2,448 miles of historic Rt. 66. Total miles covered were 7,292. "Big Red" also appeared in a Java J-Run magazine ad, a McDonald's Chipolte chicken TV commercial, a Wendy's TV commercial and in the music video "Rappers Delight." I have been its owner since 1997. Prior to that for six years I owned a blue 1968 DeVille convertible which appeared in the movie "A Bronx Tale." I am the founder of the Cadillac Club of North Jersey (1991). |

If the facts hadn't already been posted, I would have ventured 67 in Ember Firemist but given that the film appears to have been tin-typed a bit as the scene was a flashback. There was no such color in 1968. However, correcting for the altered color temperature, San Mateo Red would be my guess. |
