Silver Cloud I (1957 to 1959) or II (1959 to 1962) Long Wheelbase Saloon. Can't tell which engine is fitted, 6 cyl = MkI V8 = MkII.

I thought the small chromed grilles (well visible in the second thumbnail) identifies this as a II.

If you mean the small grilles behind the driving lamps on each side of the radiator, these are also present on the Silver Cloud I and the Bentley S1. I have checked this most carefully.

See pages 74, 75 and 114 of the book "A collector's guide to the Rolls-Royce and Bentley: Volume 1 Standard production models 1945 to 1965" by Graham Robson. ISBN 0-900549-86-6.

Those are the grilles I mean indeed. I think to remember (but have no written info about it) that these were non-chromed but painted in the first series.

Quite convincing :)

I think we should just delete the 1 or 2 and call it a Silver Cloud Long Wheelbase Saloon. We don'tknow what retrofits the owners could have done over the years.

Actually thats another Rolls in the movie. First was driven by BB and Cassel crash them. Later he crash another Rolls of BB's friend. Different color, different role. Here is 2 Rolls in the movie.

Indeed, there's a III involved in another accident with this 2CV in which its bonnet is all smashed, while in the 1st the 2CV keeps intact only the Rolls wing being hardly hurt .
This second Rolls-Royce is also owned by D.Ceccaldi in the film, but driven by him, not by his ex-wife B.Bardot (la poupée).
The second acccident, happening the same day as the first, makes Jean Pierre Cassel having this funny reply:
" A 2CV is much more solid than ONE Rolls eventually, but less solid than TWO Rolls" :D

Actually, there must have been three Rolls-Royce cars involved, as the pics showing actual damage also show a wider white sidewall tyre than the Silver Cloud LWB shown, and it most likely was an already damaged old Silver Cloud Standard Saloon....(or Bentley S1, for that matter).
