Neither DeSoto nor Dodge , it has a Chrysler grille, and also not a long wheelbase chassis.It is a Chrysler Windsor " Traveler Sedan" which was equipped with a chrome and wood roof rack.These models were not build in 1946 , but in 1947 and 1948 and were part of the Windsor C-38W series.The DeSoto Suburbans rode on the long 139 1/2 inch chassis. |
