It's actually a GMC based on the grill and hood |

The straight line of the hood opening indicates without a doubt a 1947-53 Chevrolet Advance-Design model. The grille is not a GMC one, it just seems to be an after-market model. Long chassis, so either a 1947-53 6700 or a 1953 6800. |
