Actually it became a submodel in 1959, the ugliest year, and if you don't see that all these red/white Fury coupés used in Stephen King-movies are such an obvious wink to the film 'Christine' from 1983, you know it now. In Cat's Eye is olso a Fury featered from that same first run and olso in Storm Of The Century, if I'm correct. And, I can clearly see that the burning Fury as depicted by 'A story in a story' is a 1959 model. Greets, a Stephen King-fan

The first time i watched it i had to smile at the several little homages/allusions to "christine", be it the make and model, color tone, or the short chase scene. Commander 57 ◊ 2015-08-24 15:10	One of life's little driving pleasures is letting the steering wheel spin back through your hands after making a turn. Can't do that with a square wheel. I never liked it either and no doubt the public agreed because that feature did not last long. (The idea was to increase visibility of the dashboard gauges but still........)
