Apart from being what looks like a car based ambulance, I don't think it looks anything like ECTO-1. I'm guessing it's based on a 60's Japanese car, but offhand, I don't know much about them. |

The grille and headlamp arrangement has a strong resemblence to the old Toyota Crown. |

The '62 has a vertical badge on the front grill like this screencap, but the '64 has a horizontal badge. (And remember, it is animated, so it may not look exactly like the real car) |
