Appears briefly in 3 scenes.![]() ![]() ![]() I saw this on the wikipedia page for the Lincoln Continental: "Continentals featured in Hollywood movies include a 1987 Continental Givenchy driven by realtor Jane Butterfield (Annie McEnroe) in the Tim Burton film, Beetlejuice." The badge on the c-pillar here indicates that it is the Givenchy trim level: ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2012-11-29 21:58:56 |

Love this car. I have been looking all over the country for months to find one this exact color with a sunroof. |

In the first draft of the screenplay, Jane drives a bottle green Cadillac. I think this Continental is a real beauty. The Givenchy trim level was top of the line. |

Jane Butterfield's car. The Givenchy series was offered as the top-of-the-line trim level on Continentals from 1982 to 1987 (alongside the Valentino designer series which was dropped after '85). It appears that this car does not have leather seats although I do believe leather was a common option on the Givenchy (with the Givenchy logo stitched into the leather). Here is a video touring an '86 model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZvKHj7MMYI. This car would have more than likely been equipped with a 5.0L V8 also standard on Town Cars of this generation (we do get some nice soundtrack footage of the engine turning over when Jane starts the car). Personally I think this should be a 3-star vehicle. -- Last edit: 2018-11-09 02:36:09 |

Beautiful, classy car. Someone local to me drives a model just like this one, right down to the paint color. This was, in my opinion, the last of the great Continentals. Despite it being downsized for the 1982 model year, they were still practically living rooms on wheels. Even though the Continental nameplate continues today, the current MKZ is more in-line with this generation as far as price range and size in Lincoln's lineup. The current Continental is essentially a successor to the now defunct full-size Town Car. |
