it is an erly 50's Mercedes produced between the 170 series (end of 30's/1940's) and the 180/220 "ponton" MB of 1954-1960's... |

You mean a W 187? I doubt it is a Mercedes at all. The Mercedes had suicide doors up front, whereas this car has them in the rear. The bonnet is too long for a Mercedes and the distance between the bumper and the grille too far. My guess is 1936-39 Lancia Astura Pininfarina. |

You're right about suicide front doors, which are not matching with a MB 220 1951... I had a doubt about it anyway ![]() Lancia Astura? maybe.. |
