On the left.

Assuming that they didn't switch cars in about 3 seconds of film, the car on the right is the same as /vehicle_22830-Ford-Unknown-1939.html

A priori, c'est une Buick de 1942-45.

Sorry wrenchhead...........
but the car on the right is a '39 or '40 Ford convertible, and is not the same as the '41 Ford convertible that is linked to. '41 Fords did not have running boards on the outside, the '39 and '40's did. The trimline on the fenders was also new in '41.

No problem. I did it again - at least this one is the same color LOL. I did not catch the rapid change of cars in the same chase scenes. They must have edited this turkey with a paper shreader. Will see if there is a better picture and put it on its own page.

Hmm, it could possibly be a Lincoln Zephyr 1938-39. It looks a little big for a Ford and the rear wheels are covered, that´s unusual on a Ford.

Yes, it looks like a 1947 or 1948 Buick Special, the 1942 models have a chrome moulding that runs from the parking light to the front wheelwell. And the grille does look like the 47-48 grille too.

"Buick Special Model 41 four door sedan of 1947 or 1948."

The Special had the same body thru '49, so it could be '47, '48' or '49.
Only Super & Roadmaster switched to the new body for '49 (one year only,
then all series had new bodies for 1950.

1947, only.
No chrome streak along the hood line.

Compare 1948:
