I checked the movie and there is something written on the fender behind the front wheel but its to blurry to read.

The script would be 'Fury'. The wagon of the Fury-Line is a sport suburban.

That should make everyone happy.

It appears that in 1962, Plymouth stopped using the Suburban name, although they readopted it some time later: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com"

That would make this car a Fury Station Wagon.

Good catch! I can't remember if it is wrecked beyond all hope but of course this may have been filmed first, and perhaps the wagon had some sort of use hauling equipment, actors, etc.

You know I could have sworn that Plymouth used two different size headlights for the low and high beams. Now I'm looking closely, and the actual lamps are the same size, but the low beams have that enormous bezel around them that looks from afar as part of the lamp.
