Yes , it is a schoolbus on an International Harvester chassis ca 1956-1957.The coachwork origin of these school buses is difficult to trace.There were about 12 manufacturers of these coachworks in the United States. |

And since this is made between 1956 and 1957, that makes this an S-Series bus. |
