Smooth hood and no chrome spears on trunklid ===> 1959-60 Chevrolet Corvette. There are only two things (apart from the VIN) that help differentiate a 59 from a 60, both are not visible in this picture. 1. The stitching of the pleated seat inlays were horizontal on the 59, vertical on the 60. 2. The embossed simulation two-blade 'spinners' in the center of the wheel covers were parallel to the crossed-flag symbol on 59s (as in 58), but perpendicular for 1960. -- Last edit: 2006-07-06 10:56:05 |
