Atlanta Police Cars, Unknown County Patrol Cars from Episode 1.2 & Enos' #86 1.7 are 1976 Plymouth Fury. Please move em to 1976 Plymouth Fury Stronghold. -- Last edit: 2006-02-05 08:19:00 |

The above two lots of cars..are not unknown..and have already been moved (..twice.!) and eventually placed here in this section.! (confirmed by many of our contributors) If antp wishes to move them again.. he can.! otherwise ..they stay here.! |

As I said, I let you manage the pictures of this series ![]() If you keep a 1976 separated from this 1975, then it would be better to move the thumbnails to the 1976 page. But since all these Furys are similar and from nearly the same year (1975-1976) I would keep all of them together (all those of this page, and the 1976 Fury that is currently on another page). -- Last edit: 2006-02-06 00:16:07 |

this is a 1975 plymouth fury...Ben Jones (Cooter) reports it stolen and specifically says "1975 blue plymouth fury with hazzard plate...." before he is cut off by enos |

he also asks cooter what kind of headers she`s got and cooter replies edelbrocks and then enos tell rosco that they should have them fitted to the cruisers |

If you watch carefully in episode 1.2 when Boss looses the cops, when he makes that turn, you can see the Blue fury parked in the background. |

It is a 1975 Plymouth Fury, but keep in mind that the car that is blown up at the end of the episode is a 1971 Dodge Coronet. Look closely at the painted-over, dual-lens quarter panel reflectors. Granted, it could be a '71 Satellite 4-door as well, but there's one argument against that: There was a '71 Coronet used as a Hazzard police car in Daisy's Song - specifically, the car that Rosco winds up blowing up (marginally) with a stick of TNT - and a second one (or the same car) used as the Atlanta police car that Bo and Luke smash into (notice that it changes from a Fury to a Coronet for the crash). The explosion car in Mary Kaye's Baby is most likely the same vehicle with a repaint, for it is the only Coronet/Satellite 4-door B-body to show in the Georgia episodes. FYI, the Atlanta cars are '75-76 Furys with exception to the crash vehicle I mentioned above. It's quite obvious when the car spins around; note the pre-crash regulation bumper. There is a possible chance this is the same car blown up as a Hazzard car too, given the duct-taped trunk. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2011-12-25 02:35:14 |
