I bought one of three, of the Mustsngs used in the Movie Metro. My friend bought it at auction and transferred the title over to me, after I purchased the car, in the movie productions name, which is Eddie Murphy’s real name. Scott Roper movie productions was on the title that I received. It didn’t state there were any other prior owners. Eddie Murphy owned a house, in my neighborhood in Novato, Ca. My car had a 351 Windsor, with the FMX transmission. This may be the same car, but as stated there were three total used, for the movie. My car was the best one outta of the three used. Mine was used in the last scene of the movie, where they blew the front windshield out. They put, $5000.00 locking rims on the car with Drag race tires with the inner tubes inside. They lowered the car, too. A friend of mine came to a party my husband and I were having and he was one of the actors, in the movie and recognized my car and told us we got the best car outta the 3 that were used, in the movie. So, I can’t confirm that this was the car your friend owned, at one time. When I bought the car I had to have the tow truck driver and our mechanic come get it, because it sat so low to the ground it rubbed on the speed bumps, or tree roots growing, in the pavement that it would knock a hose off, so we put a steel sleeve over it to reinforce the hose. The tow truck driver used to always tow the car from Eddie Murphy’s house, to Mare Island, for the scene shot, in a wherehouse on a closed Naval Station. I sold the car, to someone in Virginia. Maybe this was your friend’s car, or maybe it wasn’t. |

I think it needed be two stars. It was in the movie for less than a minute. If it was an old sedan, it will be two stars. -- Last edit: 2022-04-16 05:12:54 |
