This is a 1976 or later Vega, not a '75-1/2 or '76 Cosworth Vega. Unless you can prove that the car in the photo has had its "Cosworth Twin Cam" decals removed from the front fenders and the left-rear panel and has been repainted yellow, a color which was never offered by the factory for a "Chevy Cosworth" (8 body colors were available for the 1976 model year) this car is a yellow, plain-jane Vega. The unique aluminum Cosworth Vega wheels, manufactured by GKN in England, could have been fitted to this car since GM sold the excess inventory after only 3,800 Cosworth Vegas were built. |
