Looks like a Bedford VAM with coachwork by Duple made in the late 1960s.

The word 'coach' only means that it is an travelling bus. In French this is 'autocar'. I don't think we need to mention this in the name.

I Know that coach means autocar in french, but wasn't the complete designation DUPLE COACH?

I don't think that 'Duple Coach' was an official name. It was rather used as a description, i.e. 'A coach bodied by Duple based on a Bedford chassis'. Therefore you could, of course, add 'coach', if you prefer.

Perhaps someone finds some contemporary documents showing what it the correct way to write it.

No problem, if you think the "coach" terminology is not official..then it's ok

Chassis Bedford VAM. Body Duple Viceroy. The Duple Viceroy is a coach body.
