I would give this one 4 stars as it is the car used by James Bond and he is seen driving it a good few times. |

I disagree. Bond used it only in two short scenes. Besides, it's got no important role in the film and does not diserve more than three stars. |

I just looked to buy one of these exactly like this one the other day, it was an LSC model even. It's a very nice car, so advanced and aerodynamic for the mid-80s. |

Per the wheels this is an '87-'92 |

I was living in the Florida Keys when this movie was filmed. I owned a construction equipment rental business and rented them items used to prepare the bridge. When filming was done, I bought this exact car and kept it as personal transportation for three years. It was an 87 LSC with everything including the 5.0 HO V8 engine. As nice a car as I've seen that was a US-made model. ![]() |

This is a long shot. And if I'm violating any site regulations here, please advise ----- I am a member of the Ian Fleming Foundation (www.ianflemingfoundation.org), which maintains an extensive collection of, and archive related to, vehicles used in the James Bond movies. We are trying to track down any of the Lincolns used in the movie "Licence To Kill". We would very much like to get in touch with poster Jonnyboy, who posted a comment on 2009-05-21 regarding the car. If Jonnyboy happens to read this page, or if anyone knows him and can inform him of this comment, he can contact me at BondVehicle@gmail.com. Or if *anyone* has any information that might be useful in tracking down one of the Lincolns, he/she can contact me at that address. Alternatively, a comment can perhaps be posted here and we can correspond that way --- I'll be checking this page periodically. Thanks! |

Does anyone know if this car still exists? I see that Jonnyboy said he used to own the car but he didn't respond to double bourbon's posting. I am also trying to find this car. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find this car? |

According to his comment he would have sold it in the early 90s so he probably doesn't know where it is now either. It could have been scrapped by now. |

This is a ridiculous long shot, seeing as Jonnyboy posted this so long ago, but do you still have any documentation on hand that has the VIN from this car? I'd like to run it through the Florida database and see if it's still in the state. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2016-09-07 06:21:15 |

Fantastic story! It's unfortunate that this car had relatively limited screen time. Very nice car indeed. |

since the owner himself said it was an 87, any reason why its ID as 88 ? |
