Fiona Volpe's (Luciana Paluzzi) car in the Bahamas. She gives Bond for a ride in it, and drives pretty fast (100 mph down a country road) "You look pale, Mr Bond, I hope I didn't frighten you."

"Well you see, I've always been a very nervous passenger."
"Some men just don't like being driven."
"No, Some men just don't like being taken for a ride."

This Mustang obviously has a 289 4 barrel V8 in it, I highly doubt that the 6 cylinder Mustang could go much over 85, This Mustang probably also has a 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission because I didn't see Luciana Paluzzi doing any movements that suggested a manual transmission. I like the colors of this Mustang, Turquoise (I think Ford called it Caribbean Turquoise in their sales brochure in '64 & '65.) And white top, Those are great tropical colors.

Like the Triumph, the Mustang has a UK-plate underneath the Bahamas-plate.

Again, I'm not sure it is a proper UK plate, though format is correct - looks AB 1234 type of combination. I guess it's from a UK territory.

dsl, you are correct. It is not a UK plate underneath the white tag. The plate underneath is a standard Bahamas plate issued in the 1950s and 1960, while the secondary white plate MAY be a style for a category of vehicle designated "tour car" by the road traffic department of the Bahamas.
